Where's Waldo? (known as Where's Wally? in the UK) is a series of children's puzzle books created by English illustrator Martin Handford. The books consist of detailed double-page spread illustrations depicting dozens or more people doing a variety of amusing things at a given location. Waldo, a distinct character in a red-and-white striped shirt, bobble hat, and glasses, is hidden in each illustration, and readers are challenged to find him.
Attentional blinks are really easy to understand if you think about a where's Waldo task. You know this task where's Waldo where you know there a bunch of people and objects and things in a in a picture and somewhere in there is Waldo with the striped hat and the glasses and kind of a skinny dude and you have to find Waldo.

"The speaker used the 'Where's Waldo task' as an analogy to explain attentional blinks and visual search. This concept was introduced to help listeners understand how attention works and falters, especially in the context of ADHD. It's a specific, well-known book series that serves as a practical example for the discussion on focus."
