📝 Description

Mad Honey, also known as Cliff Honey, is harvested from the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. It is produced by the world's largest honeybees, Apis dorsata laboriosa, which feed on the pollen of Rhododendron flowers containing grayanotoxins. This unique honey is known for its medicinal properties in small doses but can have hallucinogenic and neurotoxic effects in larger quantities. It is traditionally harvested by the Gurung people using rope ladders on steep cliffs.
